  This X30 was super simple to set up. During the initial configuration, I simply had to change from Poly mode to the Teams mode. After that I logged in as the Team rooms resource we had set up for the conference room. On the Teams invite we simply added the room resource and the TC8 showed the meetings. When you go into the room, you can start the meeting directly on the TC8. Also if you want to share, you can use Proximity join which comes up on your laptop so you can join the meeting (it automatically mutes and shuts off your video on your PC) and chose the option to run on the Collaboration bar. That allows you to share your content. It is so simple for anyone. No cables to plug into. All wireless when using the device. The sound is great. The microphone is awesome for people as they can hear anyone in the conference room and it sounds the same from every position. The camera tracking is cool and if the conversation is bouncing around a lot, it will simply cut to each person instead of zooming in and out making you sick. Overall this is a great implementation of a Teams room device in my mind. I know it can be used for other services like ZOOM, etc. but we almost exclusively use Teams. Also since it runs the applications natively on the Android device, you absolutely do NOT need to purchase a Poly RealConnect license like the Poly dealer told me I needed to do (which I did not). You only need the RealConnect license if you were to use the Poly OS mode and connect to Teams. That is an expensive license. I was not happy when I had heard that from him. I am glad I researched it. Of course I didn't buy the X30 from him because of it and purchased it from Video Conferencing Supply instead.
