The EagleEye Director is ready to be used with any of the Poly HDX series room telepresence systems, and is simple to set up with a single cable connections. The base of the unit includes seven integrated microphones, which allows the EagleEye Director to precisely locate voices in a variety of rooms, regardless of shape or size.
Voice triangulation, face finding and an innovative dual-camera configuration delivers breakthrough affordability in personalizing the telepresence experience for every group conference. This enables richer communication and more productive meetings with participants who no longer need to worry about staying in the camera view or interrupting the flow of conversation to handle the remote control. Meetings can become more focused on business by having the EagleEye Director take care of camera functions.
The EagleEye Director also executes facial detection algorithms once the voice has been located to determine if the user is speaking to other users in the room or to meeting participants at the far end. The camera will then automatically zoom in and position the speaker in the proper proportion and location in the viewing window. This helps deliver a high-impact, immersive experience for remote-end participants.
